Where The Crawdads Sing

Delia Owens absolutely broke my heart with this one. I’m so not emotional. I don’t really cry during books. To say I was a mess by the end would be an understatement. I don’t say this to freak you out or anything like that. But I guess I’m trying to tell you that this book is so beautifully done, and this I can’t even put into words all the emotions this story made me feel.

This story is about a girl named Kya. We watch Kya grow up on the pages of this book from a young girl to a woman. Her story is tragic, beautiful, frustrating, and everything in between. From Kya’s story we are reminded that blood doesn’t run thicker than water, and sometimes the family you’re born with isn’t the family you need.

We meet incredible characters along Kya’s journey, as well as some not so great humans. I honestly can’t even name names here, because I just want you to experience everything for the first time without my opinions, and I’m clearly awful at not giving my opinions.

Please please please go pick up this book. I will personally mail you this book. Pinky promise.

xoxo Reb
